Clients often have many general questions about travel and our services. We hope to address a few of them below, but please feel to contact us with any questions you may have:

Q. How much does your service cost?

A. Vacation Packages ~ Nothing!!! Using a travel agent does not cost clients anymore than if they would book the travel themselves. Our agency is paid by the supplier, not by you! We do reserve the right to charge a small service fee for any air only requests, as airlines do not offer any incentives for travel agents. For event planning, our services are prices on an individual basis. Each event is customized just for you. Please call for a consultation on your next event!

Q. When should I make my booking?

A. As soon as you know when you want to travel, for how long and you have narrowed down the destination(s) you want to travel to. Of course....as soon as the travel within your budget is a priority too!

Q. I am ready to book, what should I do?

A. Contact Midwest Travel Agency so we can prepare a quote with the information you provide us. We commit to offering a fast turnaround time on quotes, you will be pleasantly please with our services!

Q. Do I have to pay in full at the time of booking?

A. This depends on when your travel will take place and what type of booking it is. For air only requests, full payment is required at the time of booking to guarantee your rate and ticket. For vacations, if travel will take place in a short period of time (typically under 45 days), you will need to pay up front. However, most generally you will only need to make a deposit to confirm your reservation.

Q. How can I pay?

A. Due to State laws and supplier systems, the only form of payment that can be accepted by Midwest Travel Agency are credit or debit cards.

Q. What type of documents are required to travel?

A. Internationally you will be required to carry a passport and in some cases a visa. For domestic travel you are required to carry a government issued picture ID. If you need any assistance in applying for required documents, your agent would be happy to assist you.

Q. Can I purchase insurance for my trip?

A. Absolutely, in fact we recommend it. Information on trip insurance will be provided at the time of booking. If insurance is declined, you will need to sign a waiver stating that you understand the consequences of declining the insurance should issues arise on your vacation.
