FAQ's
Q. How much does your service cost?
A. Vacation Packages ~ Nothing! Using a travel agent does not cost
clients anymore than if they would book the travel themselves. Our
agency is paid by the supplier, not by you! We do reserve the right to
charge a small service fee for air only requests, as airlines do not
offer any incentives for travel agents. For event planning our services
are priced on an individual basis, each event is customized for you.
Please call for a consultation on your next event!
Q. When should I make my booking?
A. As soon as you know when you want to travel, for how long and you
have narrowed down the destination(s) you want to travel to.
Q. I am ready to book, what should I do?
A. Contact Midwest Travel Agency so we can prepare a quote with the
information you provide us. We commit to offering a fast turnaround
on quotes at very affordable rates.
Q. Do I have to pay in full at the time of booking?
A. This depends on when your travel will take place. If travel will take
place in a short period of time (typically under 45 days), you will need
to pay up front. However, most generally you will only need to make a
deposit to confirm your reservations (typically 50% or under of the
total trip cost).
Q. How can I pay?
A. We prefer you pay by credit card, as this makes the reservation
and booking process much simpler. If you prefer to pay by check, it will
need to clear the bank before our agency makes the reservations (as
we will have to use a company credit card to book).
Q. What type of documents are required to travel?
A. Domestic travel will require you to have an valid, government issued
ID. For international travel, at minimum, you will be required to have
a valid passport and government issued ID. Before any international
travel you should be sure to research document requirements. If you
need help with this Midwest Travel Agency would be glad to assist.
Q. Can I purchase insurance for my trip?
A. Absolutely, in fact we recommend it. Information on trip insurance
will be provided at the time of booking. If insurance is declined, you
will need to sign a waiver stating that you understand the
consequences of declining the insurance.
Q. Are you hiring travel agents?
A. If you are interested in becoming a travel agent with Midwest
Travel Agency, please contact us by phone or mail. Midwest Travel
Agency welcomes interested agents both new and experienced.
