Cruise FAQ's
Q. Are there activities for children on a cruise?
A. Most cruise lines offer children, teen, and pre-teen programs.
The larger ships usually include a video arcade, kids disco or other
kids areas. Cruises offer amenities for the whole family to enjoy,
while seeing variety of countries and ports. Some ships may also
offer babysitting services and daycare centers.
Q. Will I get seasick?
A. All ships have stabilizers to smooth the ride so it is unlikely
that you will notice motion on cruise ship, even if you are
sensitive to motion on other vehicles. Please keep in mind that
some cruises are in calmer waters than others, for example the
Caribbean vs. Bermuda. If seas do get rough, there are many
medications available on board.
Q. Do I have to participate in scheduled activities or can I just
relax?
A. Cruising offers so many different activities throughout the
day, however you may choose to do nothing at all...which is the
point of a vacation after all.
Q. Do I have to tip? If so, how much?
A. Gratuities are at your discretion, however it is recommended
at approximately $9.75 per person per day of your cruise. Most
cruise lines automatically add a 15% gratuity to each purchase
from the bar.

A. All U.S. and Canadian citizens must have proof of citizenship
(passport) or birth certificate (official with a seal, not a
photocopy) and picture identification, or a certified naturalization
certificate with picture identification.
